This is amazing....

Brilliant, brialliant, BRILLIANT! This one gave me chills, my friend. I can tell that you put every ounce of your soul into it, the degree of emotion is fantastic. I can FEEL the fear and thought throughout the whole song, and while I could picture all kinds of things with this one, it is simply the emotion and NOT the images that inspire feeling inside my own self. If you were particularly familiar with my taste in music, you would be very surprised to hear this: I'm downloading this one. While I love classical music, I pretty much NEVER listen to it. That's how good this piece is. I seriously think that you need to get into music production for games or movies, 'cuz this you're WAAAYYYY too good to stay on Newgrounds alone.

5/5, 10/10, and a DL.

Keep it up man!

Dramatic indeed ;)

This is DEFINITELY dramatic... It strikes me as music that would go well themed with a spy in old Great Britain running from the police. I'm not sure why, but it makes me think of that. Either that or something happening in a castle full of vampires and such. I think my favorite part is at 1:40 where it becomes very soft, if only for a short time. It's not one of my more favorite pieces by you, but it nonetheless sounds quite beautiful.

5/5, and 8/10

Wow, a weird one...

Dang, if your old stuff is this good, I can't wait to see what one of your new tracks will be like. I found this one to be distinctly odd, if only because of the very happy melody... It's oddly fun to listen to, however. Great job on the sound synthesis, and an even BETTER job on the singing speech generator - it takes freakin' FOREVER to get one of those to sound even remotely good. It's a very odd one, but again, I like it a lot. Great job!

SkyMarshall responds:

Glad you like it man! Yeah, you're right about speech-generation, it took forever. But it was fun to learn back then. The music was actually just a shell for it, but its ok I guess. And thanks for the 9 man =) love it.

10 years, eh?

I'd say this is pretty freakin' good for a ten year old track, dude. I simply love the chord progression in it, the beginning reminds me a bit of the melody for Sanxion, then at about 1:14 it turns into something more along the lines of O-zone or even a little pop-ish, like N-sync. OHH, and then it goes full blown trance, simply awesome man! I love this track a lot!

SkyMarshall responds:

About 10 years yeah :) Part tracker, part sequencer. And Im glad you like it man:) Thanks for the 10....

Very different...

I was kinda thrown by the fact that this one wasn't in the classical or ambient genres. I'm already used to your orchestral style. This is quite impressive, I really like everything that you did with this one. It's extremely diverse, and while the standard beat is fairly simple, it compliments the song well. My only complaint is that the strings sound a little too quiet every now and then, and the bass synth seems a tad loud at times. Everything else is fantastic!

ParishIsDead responds:

Arrgh!!! My perfect 10!!!

Oh well, all is well that ends well. I am still grateful for your continued support of my music. I will have more for you tomorrow!!!

Dark... Very dark.

The overall darkness and power of this piece is mind-boggling... I can just see a dark dungeon where evil dwells, waiting to ensnare the hero of a story. It also sound like it could be used for some kind of a demon's court or something... Like the hero is brought into a stadium by demons to be judged according to his works against them. Again, simply fantastic, I got a lot of imagery out of this one.

ParishIsDead responds:

You continue to grace me with high marks. I am very honored that you are here manmademusic.

Please, tell everyone you can I am here and gunning for the front page. Any help will be appreciated.

Wow.

This one sounds A LOT like a Zelda track or something. I'm simply amazed by your composing skills, my friend - everything that I've heard by you is fantastic so far. Two thumbs up!

ParishIsDead responds:

I do not see a Zelda track in these pieces but I will keep trying. Thanks for the reviews and thanks for the votes!!! Remember, I am going for a front page so tell everyone you know I'm here and ready to fight!!!

Wow!

Your a Classical composer? I'm very impressed! The instruments all blend well, and sound quite professional. It's very hard to make an orchestral track that sounds like this.... It reminds me of a blend of The Princess Bride and something out of a Zelda game. VERY well done, and indeed, I am not dissapointed ;)

ParishIsDead responds:

I agree on the difficulty, but, alas, I am not so much classical as I would like to be. This is my softest piece to date. Just check out my other stuff.

I'm diggin' it!

Now this is something different! The weird voice caught me right off that bat, I had NO idea what it was saying, but it was funny! The next thing I heard was a fantastic arp progression with a great little ditty on the bass and melody. The one part that really bugs me is the french horn kind of sound that comes in at roughly 1:00 - it seemed so low quality and weak when compared with the rest of the synths. The whistle was great... Ohoh, I love the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly part, that was simply fantastic. Very good excecution in the whole song, nice job dude!

SkyMarshall responds:

Thanks man :) The voice in the beginning says something like: "Can we get a trancemission here? Allright aight. SkyMarshall Arts presents OUTLAWS the trance remix". :p Yes that is damn cheezy, so love it :) Glad you like the whole thing. You complained a bit on the brass-melody playing the lead, and I do agree actually. Its a bit random, and I regret not doing a better job on that one. But hell, it works.

Thanks again for the review! =)
(I'll go upload an even older one now then ... Monkey Island)

Well!

This is actually pretty dang good for such an old song. The beginning was pretty iffy, but when it picked up, the synths and lyrics more than made up for that. This one is very simple, slow and perhaps even a little mournful. The music sorta reminds me of songs from Harry Potter, and it even has some Celtic sounding parts from :46 throughout the rest of the song. Very nice, I like it a lot.

SkyMarshall responds:

Thanks :) Actually didnt think anyone would like this, so cool to hear you appreciate it. 1 happy listener makes it all fine and dandy, you realise =) Nice find with the celtic undertones. Glad you like it.
